Winery Review: This bright, soft Merlot comes from a hilly vineyard on the Alcesti family estate in beautiful Sicily. It has hints of red cherries and freshly cut hay. Exceptional value.
Personal Review: This wine was a ruby red color. On the nose I got cherry and black pepper. On the back of the palate I got a sharp acidic flavor. Overall, this was a really great Merlot. I really enjoyed it. This wine would pair well with food.
